This stationery box was done for Weltbild, one of the biggest publishers in Germany. They licensed the artwork from Thomas Kinkade and wanted a set that gives a high-quality impression.
The topic was to create a design that both informs and attracts potential users in an effective way. (Yes, these are the things package design usually has to deliver.) The process included the development of the products name and logo as well.
